Multi talented Award winning Nigerian singer, Songwriter and Grammy award winner Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, well known in the music game as Burna Boy has finally broken his long silence about his alleged involvement in a shooting incident at Cubana nightclub in Lagos.
It would be recalled that it was reported that the singer was involved in a heated scuffle in a nightclub situated in Lagos, Cubana.
The genesis of the altercation is still a mystery but during the fight, one of Burna Boy’s security personnel was said to have fired some bullets into the crowd, and in the process, two people were hit.
According to sources, one of the victims who happens to be a returnee was shot in the private part and has been hospitalized since the incident. The Nigerian police were invited to the scene to calm tempers as they commenced an investigation into the matter to bring the culprits to book.
The news was meted with mixed reactions from Nigerians as many called for the arrest of the singer along with his boys for causing harm to the civilians during the brawl at the nightclub.
In response to these reactions and the entire incident, the “Twice As Tall” crooner has broken his silence about the whole incident, saying he wouldn’t be shocked if social media users tag him as the leader of the Nigerian terrorist group, Boko Haram.
However, he never detailed his side of the story but per his reaction, it seems there was a misunderstanding somewhere about the reportage.
